The Singer - The Voice of an Angel
There is nothing more exciting than the house lights go down, the crowd cheers and band begins to play. I take a deep breath and make my entrance. What most people don't know about me is that every time I step onto the stage, a big part of me is still scared - stage fright, just like my first stage experience.
But when Air Supply performs and I begin to sing some of the best love songs ever written, I also get to experience the fans holding their loved ones, kissing, applauding, singing, crying and even blowing me a kiss or two. Then I am at ease.
Forty years later, the excitement and the stage fright haven't changed at all. They are both intense feelings that I cherish every performance. That, along with following defining moments of my life, are what got me to where I am today and keep me here 40 years later.
