關於 Blu-spec CD



　　這是 Sony 在 2008 年運用了部分 Blu-Ray discs 的製程所發展出來的音樂 CD。Blu-spec CD 並不是新規格的光碟片 (本身規格還是一般的 Audio CD，傳統的 CD player 都可以讀取)。

　　但是摒棄了在以往製作 CD 過程中的紅外線雷射

　　改採精確度更高的藍光雷射來完成刻錄母片 (BLD, Blue Laser Diode) (刻錄 XRCD 的是 K2 Laser)，並且還使用了 Blu-Ray discs 的材質 (高分子聚乙烯) 來強化光線透過率，產生更接近玻璃 CD 的特質。
　　經由上述的技術製作來的 Blu-spec CD 訊號紀錄更為正確，讀取更為穩定。

This is so expensive..they could do this type of cds with all AS albums...

So it's not real blu-ray discs.I was thinking about buying a notebook with blu-ray driver.But now I wonder if I should reconsider that

I guess it's a matter of material and the way it is read. it may improve quality just because of that ..but the frequency and bits remain the same? {:4_102:}
