Here is this weeks poem, enjoy!
- Graham
Heaven
There is no place that I have seen, no border crossed where I have been
That does not tell a tale of woe of Mankind's mountainous ego.
It's hard to say which one is worst each new one or the very first
No limit to the rampant greed, the search for excess to exceed
There is no shame to take it all and then confess to Heaven
Confessors too are paid in full with just a gentle purse strings pull
A yacht upon a turquoise sea, no not to rent, one just for thee
And billions in a secret place almost impossible to trace
Just sell more Heaven real estate, the "Beverly Hills at Pearly Gates"
A lot next to a sleeping Saint, or John or George or JFK
But that's the future and this is now, let's find another fat cash cow
Let's kill and steal and lie and cheat, then pass the blame and make it neat
But hey who cares no need to hide it's what we do and do with pride
There's not a law I cannot break, there is no bribe I would not take
No tusk or skin I would not sell, its Heaven on Earth and you can all go to Hell.
