Now posting every Sunday!
Here is this weeks poem, enjoy!
- Graham
There's something about May
So full of gilded promises that you know will all come true
She brings the leaves of Summer, fills the canvas warms the night
With colors that were sleeping but now awake and young again
Her presence born of Venus whose light now from the shadows
Cleaves the morning still in two.
The pregnant Earth spins on its course as the days come into bloom
All creatures sing together to invade our waiting ears
Young notes dance on the branches and slide and fall and skip and jump
The symphony sensational this orchestra majestic
Plays our heartstrings, none too soon
Oh May you are so clandestine so full of blue and shocking green
Your love brings us together and forever shall we stay
Beside you as you lead us into the maze with no escape
We enter more than willing no wish is more fulfilling
But May, our one true Queen.
