Lima, Oct. 25 (ANDINA).
Lima, Oct. 25 (ANDINA). The legendary band Air Supply said they were really happy to be back in Lima to offer a spectacular concert on October 26 in Lima, after more than ten years since their last performance.
“It’s great to be back in here. It’s been quite some time since we are here; we arrived last night, we are very happy to be here,” said guitarist, singer-song writer Graham Russell in a press conference in Lima.
Lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock said that the band’s inspiration to make songs comes from everything but basically from love, because it is everywhere.
“My inspiration comes from everything, life, people, the sky and the wind, even being here is an inspiration and love because it never ends, it is always there,” he said.
Hitchcock promised the band will play tomorro evening their best hits such as “Good Bye”, “Making love out of nothing at all”, “The one that you love”, “Here I am”, "Every Woman in the World", among others.
“I think Good Bye is a great song and we are going to play it tomorrow evening,” he told reporters.
He said they will sing “Making Love out of Nothing” as it is one of their greatest hits and loved by every audience in the world.
“We love to make love quite frequently, (not together) oh sorry not together, you know we’ve got a lot of big songs that’s one of them; it’s a great record, it’s a great song (….history) people all over the world love that song,” he said.
Rusell invited all Peruvian fans to enjoy a concert that is part of their Latin American tour and in which the band is celebrating their 35th anniversary of music career.
Air Supply will come back to Peru with a concert at the Maria Angola Convention Center, which will be part of the DVD they are preparing about their tour in Latin America. |
