Hi ***,
Wherever you are around the world, we wish you a very happy holiday season and hope you are able to share it with loved ones and friends—that is what it is all about!
We are almost finished with our shows for 2010; we have three remaining before we have several weeks off to introspect and prepare for next year. Our recent shows in China and Malaysia were a great success and we will soon be posting some of the pictures from those amazing places. We played four cities in China, the first ever for for any band, and also three cities in Malaysia, which is also a first! It took us over 24 hrs to get back home and we were all have been feeling it this past week...we must be getting old...LOL!
This year saw Mumbo Jumbo released with two top-30 radio hits, so we were very pleased about that, and the reviews for the CD were the best we have ever received. It seems we are getting acceptance across the board now...it only took 35 years. We introduced three new players into the band who have now become a very valuable part of Air Supply, Amir on keyboards, CJ on drums, and Christian on lead guitar. Together we have redefined the sound and made it very current without losing any of the great moments from the past. As you know, we have always brought new songs and sounds into the show and will continue that into the future.
Coming up next year are several different projects from Air Supply as a group, and also from us as individuals, so go to the Singer and Song pages when you have a moment to see what's coming soon!
We have a lot of great shows for next year and are planning to record live shows in several cities in Brazil in the spring, being it's time for another live record...don't you agree...and DVD, and this one will be a little different—we will keep you informed as we get closer.
The online store was a great success for us, the first time it was completely in-house and we are having a 40 per cent off SALE beginning NOW and ending in January 31, 2011. We do have a few of the signed, limited edition posters left too—once they are gone their will be no more!!
It's always such a pensive time at year's end; Air Supply will soon be entering its 36th year! When we think about that it's like it's someone else, it doesn't seem that so much time has gone by!
We say this every year, but we really do love you...our fans that make it all possible. You are all around the world, and we hope that wherever you are we can bring you all together in some small way through the music that we all love!
Every moment we live is so precious, remember to live each one with all the passion and love that you have.
